Model Assembled and Photo by Eatcrow2

Eatcrow2 says: - "Downloaded this from "Pillpat's" site last night, and did a quick build. Printed it out on legal size card. Spray adhesive the base on some thick stock, and doubled up the figures on 65lb card. Hit it with a couple of light coats of "Future" to seal the pastel chalk touch-ups. Colors are a little faded, but still has a nice charm to it... Fun build, and thanks to Pillpat for making it available".

Antarctic Observation Ship Soya In 1/200 Scale - by Canon

Photobucket

The Soya is a Japanese ice-strengthened cargo ship which was built in 1938. It was originally constructed as a commercial ship, but its ice durability and sonar technology prompted the Japanese army to purchase it for use as a naval ship. Following the war it was used as a repatriation ship and a lighthouse supply ship, and from 1956 to 1962 it served as an Antarctic observation ship. After passing the Antarctic torch to its successor, the Fuji, the Soya became a patrol vessel for the Japan Coast Guard. After being decommissioned, the Soya was made a permanent exhibition in front of the Museum of Maritime Science in Tokyo and remains on display there today. This paper craft is a 1:200 scale replica of the Soya at the time of her first expedition to the Antarctic. Cooperation: Museum of Maritime Science. - Canon

The Hasegawa Soya - Glory Days - 3rd Corps Antarctica Observation Ship

- Canon

The Real Thing
Kabuto Kazari is a decoration featuring a Samurai helmet (kabuto) in the middle, with a bow and sword on both sides. During Japan's long history as a nation run by Samurai, helmets and armor were regarded as extremely important items for keeping a man safe in battle. Although they are no longer used today, they are still viewed as symbols of protection and displayed on Boys' Day to pray for a life free of accidents and illness. - Canon Japan

- Canon Japan

Haunted House
The Real Thing

Pinball is a type of arcade game, usually coin-operated, where a player attempts to score points by manipulating one or more metal balls on a playfield inside a glass-covered case called a pinball machine. The primary objective of the game is to score as many points as possible. Points are earned when the ball hits against one of many different objects in the machine such as a bumper or plunger. Near the lower bottom part of the playfield, there is a hole protected by plastic flappers. If the ball falls into the hole, that ball is out and the player starts with a new ball if he has more available. Secondary objectives are to maximize the time spent playing (by earning extra balls and keeping the ball in play as long as possible) and to earn free games (known as replays). - Wikipedia

Black Hole
The Real Thing

Cabulava aula e passava o dia lá. - Mauther
