I Built Hoshibu - Kagoshima Prefecture Mascot Paper Toy - by Greboo

Malu, my Otaku daughter, always asks me to assemble paper toys of cute Japanese characters from anime, manga and also mascots, as this nice little pig, created by Greebo, for Kagoshima Prefecture. I used a common sheet of bond paper to smooth the model curves. The assembly was easy and did not take even half an hour. Occupying only one sheet of paper, it is a good model to train assembly of delicate parts. If you want to build your own mascot, the link to download this and other models, is right down, at the end of the post. There is also a funny video, if I understood correctly, shows several mascots of Kagoshima region, each promoting some quality, specialty or tourist attraction.

Malú, minha filha Otaku, sempre pede que eu monte paper toys de personagens fofos japoneses, de animes, mangás e também mascotes, como esta simpática porquinha, criada pela Greebo, para a Prefeitura de Kagoshima. Eu usei uma folha comum de papel sulfite para suavizar as curvas do modelo. A montagem foi bem fácil e não demorou nem meia hora. Ocupando apenas uma folha de papel, é um bom modelo para treinar montagem de peças delicadas. Há também este vídeo bem humorado, que se eu entendi bem, mostra vários mascotes da região de Kagoshima, cada um promovendo alguma qualidade, especialidade ou ponto turístico da cidade.

The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a long-range fighter aircraft operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service from 1940 to 1945. The A6M was designated as the Mitsubishi Navy Type 0 Carrier Fighter, and also designated as the Mitsubishi A6M Rei-sen and Mitsubishi Navy 12-shi Carrier Fighter. The A6M was usually referred to by the Allies as the "Zero", from 1940 the year in which the aircraft entered service with the Imperial Navy. The official Allied reporting name was "Zeke". Initially the British referred to it a "Nought Fighter" as they did not use the word Zero at that time, When it was introduced early in World War II, the Zero was considered the most capable carrier-based fighter in the world, combining excellent maneuverability and very long range. O Mitsubishi A6M Zero era um avião de caça de longo alcance da Marinha Imperial Japonesa Air Service 1940-1945. This very beautiful paper model in 1/144 scale is offered by Japanese website Shikisha. The Naval Vessel Kaiten was one of three warships used by Rebels in the Battle of Miyako Bay. This battle was a naval action on 6 May 1869. Here is the second and last part of the construction report of the Old Stone House With Well. This is a simple model consisting in only 23 pieces and more one if you counting the optional base. 

I printed in A4 format and it fits nice for 50 mm figures, as you can see on the first photo of this post.

Eu imprimí em formato A4 e ela ficou em um tamanho perfeito para miniaturas em 50 mm, como você pode ver na primeira foto deste post.
